When helping clients buy a pre-owned car, Neal starts with a clear idea of your needs and price range. He will conduct an informed and exhaustive search and once he locates the optimal choice, Neal provides a visual inspection, negotiates a price, and arranges for a mechanical inspection and further outfitting if desired.
For clients in the market for a used vehicle, Neal offers the following services:
* Consultation about preferences and desired price range. At this meeting you decide the level of involvement you would like to have in the process.
* Based on the consultation, Neal will make recommendations and then search for vehicles that match your needs. Vehicles may be obtained from dealerships, private parties or local vehicle auctions.
* After narrowing down the possibilities, Neal will personally visually inspect vehicles and advise on the overall condition. This is a preliminary examination, not a thorough mechanical inspection.
* Once you have selected a vehicle, Neal will negotiate a purchase price for you.

For clients who need to sell a car, Neal will inspect and prepare the vehicle for the market, handle all advertising and interactions with prospective buyers, and work as your agent in all negotiations.
Neal will perform the following services to help you sell yor car:
* Conduct a market comparison, and recommend a sale price.
* Advise if the vehicle needs cosmetic work to improve the likelihood of a quick sale.
* If needed, negotiate preferred rates for repairs within the ABS network of vendors.
* Place advertisements in print and online media using ABS as the contact for prospective buyers.
* Receive calls and arrange to show the vehicle to prospective buyers at a neutral site away from tour residence or place of business.
* Work as your agent by answering questions about the vehicle history and test-driving it with the prospective buyer.
* Negotiate a sale price that is acceptable to you.
* Arrange for payment of the vehicle with certified funds.

Often family members inherit unwanted vehicles when an estate is being settled. Depending on the wishes of the family, Neal can sell the vehicle to a third party on behalf of the estate.
